Melissa & Nick - Family #1106

We fell in love 10 years ago and have been happily married for 3 ½ years. We talked about having kids the second night we met. Melissa brought up the idea of adoption, having dreamed of a diverse family all her life. For us, open adoption will make all our dreams of creating a family come true.  

We live in a diverse neighborhood in the suburbs with 2 fat cats, Gadget and Gizmo. We are constantly surrounded by children as we have a very large family with a total of 13 nieces and nephews. Everyone lives close-by so get-togethers happen often. All of our friends and family are totally thrilled and share our excitement of becoming parents at last.

For fun, we both enjoy traveling and can’t wait to introduce our baby to the world. Nick loves all sports and music.  Melissa loves learning and is constantly reading or watching something interesting on television, usually about science and medicine.

 Melissa works as a Physician Assistant in fixing broken bones and Nick works as a drafter, designing stadiums.

As our baby comes to understand the story of his or her adoption, he or she will know what an incredibly important person you are in his or her life and that he or she is loved unconditionally. We look forward to sharing milestones in his or her life through photos, letters and yearly visits.
