After 10 years together and traveling the world, we decided it was time to act on our dream of starting a family together, a true-life "My Two Dads" scenario.  We believe that we can help make the most difficult decision of your life just a bit easier by knowing that we can offer your child a safe, loving, nurturing home where your child's future has endless possibilities.  Our friends and family, having had children earlier in life, keep asking if we're ready to change messy diapers and get up for 3:00am feedings but . the time is right.  We're ready.

Our circle of family and friends is a great mix of cultures and races, making the race of our child unimportant but definitely not a forgotten issue.  Our 15-month old Godson, Cameron, is African American and  our hope is to adopt a child close enough to Cameron's age so we can raise the children together, ensuring a safe and loving home where our child never feels different or out of place.

Bob has worked in pediatric healthcare for 18 years which adds a unique safety-net in raising a child - access to the best healthcare; though we hope we never need it.  Chris's job as a software developer allows him to work from home, a decision that was important to us both with regard to raising a child. We want to raise the child ourselves rather than spending the early developmental years in day care, something that we are fortunate to be able to do.

Thank you for considering us and we truly appreciate the decision you are about to make.
