Hello! We are Marty and Brian! We have been together since January 2003. In 2007 we moved to a beautiful home in a Hudson River town just outside NYC. Here we have spent much time developing a warm and safe home for ourselves, our cats (Stanley and Lily) and hopefully our soon to be son or daughter. Brian is the producing director and actor for an Off-Broadway theatre. Marty is the 3D Art Director for a commercial and animation firm. Both of us are lucky to be in creative fields and want to share this passion for different art forms with our child. Additionally we are open and excited about the interests our child will pursue, and will be supportive of all that he or she may choose to enjoy. In addition to the arts Marty and Brian both love food and enjoy exploring new restaurants and cuisines. During our free time we enjoy watching films, cooking meals together, and taking drives through the mountains and woods of the Hudson River Valley. Our travels have taken us all over Italy is our favorite so far! Brian is in a unique position with his job in that he is able to take off the first 6 months and after that he will return to work on a part-time basis for 6 months. We have always been very open in our lives together and wish to carry this openness into the relationship with our child. This means sharing with him/her how he/she came to be with us. We hope this includes photos, letters and visits from you and as much communication as you are comfortable with.
