Perry, Erin, Harry & Gabrielle - Family #141

Dear Birth Parents,

Hi, we are Perry and Erin.  We have been together for several years and have two great kids.  Gabrielle who is 21 is beginning her third year of college.  Harry who is 7 is starting second grade this fall.  Thank you for taking the time to read our letter.  We are hopeful that this will provide some insight as to who we are and what we are like. 

Perry is a Middle School Teacher and works 10 minutes from home. He is off every holiday and summers.  Erin works for a large Pharmaceutical company and has over 5 weeks of vacation.  Erin plans on taking off several months when the baby arrives and then we are planning to have a nanny and family help for the child. 

Our yard is very spacious with both plenty of trees and open ground to run around and play.  We have an above ground pool and a swing set with a playhouse for the kids to play in.   Our weekends consist of bike riding, barbequing, playing in the yard, camping, and watching movies. 

How do we convey to you that we are truly a great choice for adoptive parents in a letter?  We will simply state that in our home we teach and act with love, compassion, acceptance, understanding, and celebration in everything we do. 

It is impossible to understand what a challenging time this must be for you.  We wish you all the very best.
