Families Seeking a Caucasian, Asian, or Latino Child

Annie & Art - Family #4101

Dear Birth Parent(s),

Thank you so much for considering us! We are Art and Annie, and we are very excited about starting a family and can't wait to share our lives with a child. We've been happily married for nearly three years. Annie has taught history and social studies in the public school system for 10 years. Art owns his own business, selling antiques on eBay, and works from home. When a child joins our family, our plan is for Annie to be a stay-at-home mom for at least a year, but hopefully longer. When Annie returns to work, we plan to have Annie's mom care for our child in our home.

We live in a quiet neighborhood with safe streets and lots of families with young children. Our  home is spacious and comfortable with an in-ground pool and a fenced in backyard. There is a nice park and playground within a short walking distance. Our town has an excellent, award-winning school system, which is the same one Annie teaches in.

Annie and Art love to travel! We enjoy snorkeling in the Caribbean, but also like exploring our local community and attending cultural festivals. We live close to the beach, zoo and several parks. We like visiting these places and look forward to sharing these experiences with the child we adopt.

Family is very important to us. We've both had close and loving relationships with our parents. While Art's parents have passed on, Annie's live 20 minutes away and we visit with them often. We also love to spend time with Annie's Aunt Mary and Cousin Dani, who live in California, but visit frequently.

Our family and friends are excited about our choice to openly adopt. A child placed with us will grow up with lots of love, laughter, fun and close-knit family memories.

Thank you for reading our letter. We wish you the best with whatever decision you make.

Sincerely,

Art and Annie
