Hi, our names are Paul, Barbara and Amanda. First, thank you for considering us as a possible choice for being your child’s adoptive parents. Secondly, we would like to acknowledge how courageous you are for choosing this path for your child’s future. We have been married now for six years and our relationship has grown to where we are the best of friends. We have a 13 year old daughter, Amanda, from Barbara’s previous marriage, who cannot wait to have a little brother or sister. We also have two dogs, Lilly and Java, a lab and a beagle, who get along great with children. Our family is secure financially and strong in spirituality and we know that we have a solid foundation full of love and commitment to raise a child in our home. We cherish any family time we can spend together and try to do so as much as we can. We have the support of our immediate families , most of who live within a short distance from us. We feel it is very important for the child’s well being to be open with him or her about the adoption process, as well as to have you, the birthmother throughout his or her life, and we are willing to have that openness with you too. Again, we know how difficult this is for you to have come to this decision.
